This song, Saxy Motion Feat. DJ Wout by Milk Inc. has been going around the net in this and I can't stop listening to it! There's something weird about it that makes it so pleasurable to listen... It's prolly the sax since I hardly have any music that has saxophone in it. :(
In other news, guys, I need a bit of computer advice. Looks like I'm getting some extra money this summer, so I think this year could be the one I'm getting myself a new computer. I'm helplessly in love with my iPod and if I could have that... Something that the iPods have, in a computer... I'm willing to pay for it! I know Macs have some limitations compared to PCs but the things I use my computer on now and most likely in the future is just drawing, writing, doing websites, fiddling with photos and listening to music... And blogging of course! In other words, I hardly play games on the computer since I'm a console kid at heart and World of Warcraft runs on Macs anyway. I just don't know which to get, an iMac or a MacBook? Laptop would be really swank and I could use it for work stuff and bring it with me when I visit mum (while keeping my old comp here)... But I have no idea how that would run WoW (since I raid and all, it would have to manage with decent FPS) so I'm a little hesitant. Another possibility is to get a desktop and drag my old computer to my mum's. I don't know. I don't really know much about Macs performance wise but I'd really like to switch... Any people here who use a Mac? What are your opinions on them? Do you regret leaving PC and did you stumble on compatibility issues with your Mac? Was it easy to learn to use one? I'm not a complete Mac newbie though, after all I created that media card for the local newspaper on a Mac and it was ridiculously easy, sometimes it felt like the computer was reading my mind when I was arraging the images and text in the card so at least that was a positive experience. It had OS 9 though and the one I want has X...
I wouldn't really want to get a mad über gaming PC since that would be money wasted just to play one game. :/
I wonder if there is a way to change a tag's name... I just realised that using the tag "boyfriend" to refer to my ex is kind of misleading. I hate tags, everything even in this blog reminds me of him. :(
When skimming a magazine (or book or newspaper) do you flip through the pages from front to back or back to front?

Back to front... I suppose it has something to do with me being left handed. :)
I've always considered Fall to be my favorite season. However, the current springlike weather has put me on cloud 9. I feel so...joyful. I'm also managing the stormy weather rather well. After last year's tornado incident, I thought I might be scarred for life. It seems like I may once again be able to enjoy the rain.
Repeatedly, destroy me
If this body will eventually fall apart
I would rather be eroded by your love
If this feeling will disappear one day
I would rather be torn apart by your love now"
If there is one thing you need to know about me, it's that I'm an absolute sucker for ballads. Basically, I will listen to anyone who sings a decent ballad, even if they're carbon-copied boy bands or pop princesses (though, a couple of ballads won't make me like any of the boy band/pop princess enough to run out and buy their CDs).
I'm even a bigger sucker for sad/depressed/angst love ballads, so after hearing the new song from Hirai Ken (and reading the lyrics translation), it's my new favorite song. Heck, it's already been played 37 times according to my iTunes :D "Darker" love tunes just gets to me because they actually do make me feel all emotional inside ~_^
(This is really a post to play with the Insert Video function and make my vox space less empty ^_^)
Literally. While some of you have been sucked into a dark sort of portal, my portal has been into hell itself. Oh, but it's a delicious sort of hell.
We got a 360 (finally), and Gil got me Oblivion. I played it for a bit on the PC, but I'm really not all that fond of having to play at a desk. I quickly lost interest. When I started a new game (and spent 2 hours on the extremely frustrating character creation), I figured I would play for a little bit and get bored.
.......
That didn't happen. In fact, Gil greatly regrets buying me the game. He regrets it so much that he threatens to take it back, yet he downloaded all the addons for me off of Xbox Marketplace. He's suck a dork. :p
Okay, okay. I'm not eve getting to what I wanted to blog about. You know when you play that rare game that has moments that leave you breathless? Last night Oblivion did just that, and if I was playing it on the PC is never would have.
I'm taking the long scenic route to a dungeon I was needing for a quest. I was picking flowers when I decided to actually stop and admire the scenery. I was traveling through the Blackwoods, which is full of vegetation and tall pines. I couldn't help but to admite the detail of the tress. As I stood staring at the trees, I could hear and see the wind start to pick up. The wind picked up power and the trees were swaying periously. I could hear the wind all around me (love surround sound) and easily imagined feeling and smelling it. The sky started to darken and it started to storm.
It had me in awe.
Part of it was being able to see the gorgeous graphics (which were toned down on my PC) in such exquisite detail. I really felt as if I really was in Cyrodil.
Aside from all the pretty, it has some wonderful quests. I've had to enter a guy's dreams because he became trapped in his dreamworld. It wasn't much of a dreamworld. It was freaking Silent Hill-ish. I've had to rescue an artist who became trapped in his painting. I've got to experience people's petty (and sometimes not so petty) disputes in much greater detail than in Morrowind.
In short, this game rocks. I haven't logged into PSU for days. :o
After finishing FFXII, I'm strangely engrossed by the idea of AsheXBalthier :D (spoiler-ish info in next line) And after seeing the Japanese ending on YouTube, hearing Ashe trails off in the line ("I...") and screams his name at the end (which was so much more haunting than the English version ^_^), I'm more convinced that SE is hinting that there is something between them :D I think the princess needs her sky pirate to whisk her away once in a while ;)
Anyway, as for the game itself, I could say a lot of things about it. It is...good and bad at the same time? Haha. I liked it a lot better than FFX though. Post more about it later, since I should head off to cook dinner XD
Other things I've been watching:
Kanon - I began watching it just to see what's all the fuss about, and the first few episodes are actually too slow to capture my interest. But later on...wow, it is sure captivating in a strange way.
Death note - L rules XD Light rules XD Two of them animated = totally rules XD
24 - Poor, poor ol' Jack. I wanna give him a big hug XD
... I'm back and I've got photos! Too bad my camera broke down in the middle of the holiday so the rest of the photos I have were taken on my mobile phone and the quality sucks, so I'm not posting those. Besides, I took so many pictures that if I uploaded them all Vox would probably freeze my account, so I just tried picking some of the better ones that I liked!
Like I probably mentioned before, I stayed in Playa de las Americas with my boyfriend, his family, and his aunt's family.
We also visited the famous Loro Parque which was great fun; the orca, sea lion and dolphin shows were awesome!
One of my favourite places there was the aquarium, I got my best photos there. Most of the fish there were unknown to me, but I did recognise some! My phone did a pretty ok job with the pictures considering how dark it was in the aquarium and all... But the fish there were so pretty! I wish the photos I took of the penguins and the Atlantic puffins were better... The puffins were SO cute! I even bought a stuffed little puffin toy from the store there.
I wish I had managed to get pictures of the rare white tigers living there, but it was a hot day so all the cats were hiding somewhere cool... Too bad, I've never seen a white tiger before! The day after our Loro Park trip, the others headed for the sleeping volcano, Teide. I didn't go with them because I got sick enough during the road trip to Loro Park... The roads swirling around the mountains were crazy and my boyfriend had to screw the steering wheel like mad to stay on the road! I've never been a big fan of sitting in the car for hours, especially not when we're driving on a freaking mountain!
We also had a really nice time with my boyfriend, originally we were going to share the hotel room with his little sister, but when his aunt's family arrived there as well she moved to their place. I wonder why... >_>;; So, we had the whole apartment to ourselves! Not that we really needed all that space, but I suppose it was nice! Spending so much time with him didn't really help with missing him though, when I came back home yesterday I felt really weird being all alone in a quiet apartment.. Our neighbours in the hotel didn't sound like they had a very relaxing holiday though, in the morning I woke up to them fighting and in the evening we fell asleep to their arguing... It was a little tragicomic, but I hope they got things sorted out! :P
If you still want to see more photos, you can view them at my LiveJournal picture gallery (viewable only to my LJ friends). Most of them are the same pictures which I have here on Vox, the rest are miscellaneous snaps that I just took without thinking too much. :)
Now I'm off to school and then I will disappear from the blogging world again for a while as tomorrow is the release day of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. ;P I might be posting some WoW related things in my LJ during my long period of geeking, but don't hold your breath. And to my friends who are also going to travel to the Outlands, see you there!
